Certificate Course on Commercial Arbitration

ICLP has scheduled the commencement of its Certificate Course in Commercial Arbitration on the 12th October 2024. This forty hour course will continue till 4th January 2025 on Saturdays from 9AM to 1.15pm at the International ADR Centre at WTC, Colombo 1. The Course is specially designed for law students, under graduates and others who wish to enhance knowledge in this important dispute resolution mechanism.

The Course is conducted by eminent resource persons from the legal profession and construction industry. Important areas such as ADR mechanisms, (Commercial Mediation and Construction Adjudication & Adjudication Decision), drafting of an Arbitration clause, appointing arbitral tribunals, arbitration process, challenge of arbitrators, arbitral award, challenge and enforcement of arbitral Award, New York convention, Investment Arbitrations etc. Certificate of participation will be awarded to the participants who attend 75% sessions. Course fees is Rs 40000/-
